The video, “FAN” created in November 2004, shows my super-imposed parents in the midst of a religious reckoning.The original intention of this video was to create a straight documentary of my parents and their history. Although the unscripted interviews were conducted on separate occasions, both parents serendipitously digressed into praying for their own child. The video captures the facial expressions and fluctuations in voices that display unequivocal parental love and exaltation of their religious convictions. The "FAN" exposes various manifestations of love and questions the differences between love, passion and faith.
